Chiefs
- According to Ian Rapoport, the Chiefs restructured OLB Tamba Hali‘s contract in recent days.
- Rapoport adds that Hali received a $250,000 signing bonus and $1 million of his 2018 salary converted to a March 1 roster bonus.
- The Chiefs officially ruled out OLB Dee Ford and WR Albert Wilson for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys.
- Veteran OLB Justin Houston is listed as questionable for Week 9 with a knee injury.
Dolphins
According to Armando Salguero, former Dolphins HC Joe Philbin actually pushed for the team to draft QB Derek Carr a few years ago to replace Ryan Tannehill.
As Salguero explains it, there was a developing rift between then GM Jeff Ireland and Philbin. In an attempt to save both his job and that of OC Mike Sherman, Philbin blamed the team’s offensive issues on Tannehill and then pushed for the team to take Carr in the first round of the 2014 draft.
Miami ultimately drafted OT Ja’Waun James.
- The Dolphins list five players as questionable including QB Jay Cutler, WR Devante Parker, OL Jermon Bushrod, DL William Hayes and DE Andre Branch.

Jaguars
- The Jaguars have OL A.J. Cann, WR Marqise Lee, and OL Cam Robinson all listed as questionable for Week 9’s game.
- The Jaguars have brought in multiple punters for workouts this week including Brock Miller (NFLTR) and Jeff Locke (NFLTR).
Ravens
- Ravens HC John Harbaugh announced that TE Nick Boyle (toe) will be a game-time decision in Week 9.
- The Ravens have officially ruled out RB Terrance West (calf), WR Michael Campanaro (shoulder) and S Chuck Clark (hamstring) for Sunday’s game against the Titans.
- Baltimore also lists a staggering 12 players as questionable including Boyle, QB Joe Flacco, WR Mike Wallace, WR Jeremy Maclin, LT Ronnie Stanley, DT Michael Pierce, OL Ryan Jensen, TE Vince Mayle, CB Jimmy Smith, S Lardarius Webb, TE Maxx Williams, and OLB Tim Williams.
